The Rock Orchestra 2026 tour of Australia & New Zealand
Mega Events in London UK contacted us in early December 2025 needing CDs vinyl and merch for an upcoming tour of the Rock Orchestra in Australia and New Zealand.
What followed was a true 'stretch' project for Replicat and CrowdMerch that utilised almost every merch production and project management service we offer - 2 countries, 3 designers, 4 months, 22 venues, 46 shows, 220 caps, 700 vinyl LPs, 700 CDs, 720 hoodies, and 2880 tees.
700 CDs AND 700 VINYL LPs
Manufactured in Australia from masters and artwork supplied by the client.
Vinyl test pressings FedEx'd to client in London for approval ahead of LP manufacture.
Album stocks completed a week ahead of schedule and delivered to Thebarton Theatre SA.
Due to higher than expected early sales, top-up CD and vinyl LP stocks ordered on 2 Feb and completed on 14 Feb then flown by FedEx to Christchurch for the first NZ show on 21 Feb.
720 HOODIES AND 2880 TEES
CrowdMerch has garment stocks and printers in both Australia and NZ. We printed garments in four separate factories for this tour, with a mix of premium stocks including AS Colour and Gildan.
This flexibility minimized freight and duty costs and allowed urgent top-up orders during the tour.
While this does present certain challenges, our proofing and Pantone swatch checks ensure consistency across multiple print sources.
IMAGE TO VECTOR
Large garment orders are cheaper to screenprint rather than full colour DTF print, but this requires solid vector layers rather than images.
The first step was for our design department to convert the client's image files (left) into the most accurate vector version of that image file (right).
The most complex of these conversions was the 'gold skull' design, which we converted from CMYK to three Pantones (0131C 725C white).

With our client based in UK and busy with tour arrangements, we coordinated deliveries directly with the theatre managers on their behalf.
